What secret is your poop trying to tell you about your health?
I mean... c'mon. Isn't all of this stress causing changes in your #2s? Or is it just me? I’m not even sure if I know what’s “normal” anymore. And yes, I’m still talking about poops.
Today, I'm joined by Kelly Couch, former ER Physician Assistant turned functional health coach extraordinaire, and mom of two cute fiery girls, who will be sharing her top tips for improving your immune system so that your #2s turn are #1. 🙌🏻
How many of you feel like you are under a great deal of stress right now?
I hear you sis. As a mom who is juggling way more than you can handle right now, who doesn’t ever put your needs first, I know you may feel like, "Ain’t nobody got time for this. What in the world does 💩have to do with social distancing and how is that POSSIBLY connected to supporting my immune system?" 😷🤧🤒
I promise... there's a connection. And Kelly will be sharing with us WHY our poop is a big deal, even at a time like this. AND no, it doesn't have anything to do with your stash (or lack) of toilet paper. 🧻Trust me... Kelly is amazing and you will love yourself for taking the time to join us. 🧨
Let's dive in:
A: What is a functional health coach?
Kelly: This is someone who is trained to help you find the root cause of your health challenges and gets in the nitty gritty of it all. Walks you through the whole process.
A: Why are we talking about 💩?
Kelly: What's going on in the bathroom is directly related to your immune system. It's one of the first places we will see dysfunction when our digestion isn't functioning the way it should. We want to back up and look at our mood, poop, and our food to really find out how to begin healing the rest of the body.
A: What is leaky gut?
Kelly: The microvilia that is in your intestines is designed to keep the good bacteria in and the bad bacteria out. Certain foods and other exposures can create are gaps in your protection. It affects your absorption of nutrients, food intolerances, your poop, your immune system and so much more!
3 Things You Can Do Now:
2) Eliminate some of the inflammatory foods. Gluten, dairy, Whole30, are great places to start.
3) Find shared joy with friends and family! Walking in nature, finding the funny in something each day, use your essential oils.
When you fill out this quick 2-minute survey and use code AMYMILLER you'll receive a complimentary 30-min functional health strategy session with my good friend and physician assistant, Kelly Couch.
