Whenever you are ready...

1) Take a normal breath in and out through the nose.

2) Pinch the nose with your fingers to hold your breath.

3) Hold your breath for 3-5 seconds. 3, 2, 1…

4) Let go of your nose and breathe normally (through the nose) for a few breaths.

And again… normal breath in through your nose and out through your nose.

Pinch your nose and hold 3,2,1.

Let go and breathe normally.

You can do this exercise for 5-10 minutes every hour until your symptoms abate. If you feel comfortable you can work up to holding to the count of FIVE.
